It’s crucial to treat compost toilets as the living organisms they are, following the guidelines that ensure their survival and optimal performance:
1 – Plastics do not degrade naturally. Please avoid disposing of feminine hygiene products (sanitary pads and tampons), as well as nappies or diapers, in the toilet.
2 – Cigarette butts cannot be broken down through composting. Instead, use the provided portable ashtrays for proper disposal.
3 – The chemicals in caravan toilets are not compatible with composting. Refrain from pouring the contents of chemical toilets into the compost toilet.
