ZNA Ticket Ownership Transfers FAQ

To everyone running into problems while attempting to buy or sell a ticket via TicketSwap.

We understand the process has not been seamless and there have been situations that appear to block your progress.

Here are some frequent questions we’ve been getting from you and our possible answers, please bear in mind the we are merely allowing resales to happen and not providing any services or collecting any money from this activity. We simply chose to partner up with entities that could provide the service in order to help out Zambus who bought tickets and will not be able to make it to our beloved gathering this year.

TicketSwap does not work in my country. What can I do?

TicketSwap is currently the only solution available that allows us to guarantee secure and valid ticket ownership transfers.

We have recently learned that some supporters are experiencing difficulties using TicketSwap, despite being assured that it was the most reliable and accessible solution available for ticket transfers.

It appears that certain regional restrictions are affecting some users. Unfortunately, these limitations were unknown to us and are beyond our control. Please rest assured that we are fully aware of the situation and are actively working with TicketSwap to either resolve these issues or provide alternative solutions wherever possible.

One of the restrictions relates to local banking regulations and default security measures, which prevent companies such as TicketSwap from operating normally in certain markets. If you encounter this issue, we recommend creating an account with a fintech service such as Wise and using that account to complete the transaction through TicketSwap.

We understand that this may be inconvenient and appreciate your patience and understanding while we worked with our partners to improve the situation, these issues should now be fixed.

We will continue to keep the community informed and share any updates as soon as they become available.

I can’t get it to work with my phone?

There were some issues we identified early on where some phone areas were unable to get an OTP for authentication in the platform. These have been fixed and you shouldn’t have any problems anymore, if the situation persists for you, please reach out to us.

My TicketSwap ticket shows the wrong name/birthdate. Is my ticket valid?

Yes. We’re aware of this issue and these tickets have been corrected.

Regarding date of birth, swapped tickets will discard this info, so if yours is blank or has the previous owner’s date, don’t worry about it.

In any case if your ticket still contains the incorrect name, you should please open the case directly on the TicketSwap platform here and keep an eye on your inbox for updates, they’ll fix this issue soon.

Why can’t I sell my tickets?

For a brief period between the 22nd and 23rd swaps weren’t getting through.
Please try again, changes have been done and the issue should now have been resolved.

Why can’t I sell the ticket I bought in installments?

There were some technical issues preventing sales of installment bought tickets, all parties involved worked out a solution for this and you should now be able to sell your installment bought ticket, thanks for your patience.

Is there a deadline for ticket swapping?

Yes, ticket swaps will be possible up to July 5th, after that all lists are final and it will not be possible to change ownership of tickets.

Why was TicketSwap chosen?

Our community is global, and every solution comes with different limitations depending on the country. What works well in one market may not work as effectively in another.

When selecting a ticket transfer partner, we chose the solution that we believed to be the most reliable—an industry leader in secure ticket ownership transfers, with direct access to our ticket database and a proven track record.

Before launching the service, we communicated our requirements clearly, including the need to support all regions of our community. We were assured that these requirements would be met. Unfortunately, some unforeseen restrictions only became apparent after launch.

Since then, several issues have already been resolved, and everyone involved is continuing to work hard to address the remaining ones. While the current experience may not be ideal for everyone, we remain committed to finding solutions and supporting our community to the best of our ability.
